Works in class, but would be near impossible without a teacher

The book tells you all you need to know about Statistics, and everything you need to know about Excel.
The only thing it does not do is tell you how to solve specific Math-problems in Excel in plain-text. Which means you have to look for the answer of how to do things in Excel in the back of every chapter. The book never gives you a single example where they tell you which buttons to click to solve a particular problem.
It is like the book is written by two people: One who knows everything about statistics, and one who knows everything about Excel. But they didn't work together in creating the book. You learn about statistics, and you learn about Excel, but how to Excel to solve those particular tricky problems is left out.

This book is well worth the money. It gives step by step instructions on how and why things can be done in Excel and I enjoyed learning from this book in the month of June. As a full-time worker and a full-time student, people like us really need these type of books to simplify processes and to make us think outside of the box.

Quantitative Analysis for Managers

Man oh man. I passed this MBA course, but it was TOUGH. The content in this book is the stuff my nightmares are made of.....but at least I could follow the information. The subject matter is extremely time-consuming. I spent several hours everyday for 10 weeks studying this book. All of the details are there, but it just takes time to learn this material. I like the way the book is illustrated.
