A great read for students of photography

I found the book informative and concise. I especially like the assignments and the sample photos. Sample photos provided the shutter speed, f-stop, and iso numbers which were very helpful. It frees the student of photography from some of the conventional wisdoms. I thank Mr. Ang for sharing his expertise with the readers. I strongly recommend this book.

This is the Master Class.

This book is suited to learn the intricacies of digital photography. Well written lots of example and assignments to practice what you have just read.
One of the good things is the photo analysis that highlights what is good or bad about a photograph. You don't have to agree with the analysis but you will get to understand another view point on the art.
The target audience is the more advance photographer. I would highly recommend this book to help take your photography to the next level.

A good buy

Photography books can be expensive and many times not very helpful. This book is neither and you can be comfortable buying it if you are a amateur photographer who has been taking pictures for awhile.Masterclass may be stretching it a bit.
But it is a really beautiful and easy to understand book that can help push you forward if you have got a grasp on the basics of hobbyist photography.
