Wonderful resource

A wonderful resource book on meditation! Rev. Leverton's deliberate writing style forces us to pause and contemplate her deep wisdom. It does not read like a novel because it is not a novel. This is the greatest story ever told, the story of going inside to our Divine Self, where God and humanity meet. I would strongly recommend this book to anyone wanting to deeper their connection to the peaceful place of the Divine within.

Bliss of freedom

I've studied under several teachers and a master, including Andrew Harvey, whose message is "we each have a direct path to God; we don't need gurus." "My Divine Self" is a powerful, meditative reader that emphasizes the direct path,AND, gives us clear instructions for self-discovery. Rev. Leverton's natural twining of prose, poetry, and Truth read like a book version of a singing bowl. The direct path-- finding the timelessness and oneness in meditation, invoking personal connections to ancestors and angels, surrendering to the sublime light--might be the most difficult in some regards but it may also be the only Truth there is. Leverton urges us to find the divine within, with her clear practical spirituality; she is a true master of her own path. I love this book.
