Though these Archie Comics stories are almost 10 years old, this successful collection is nevertheless fun and engaging, with a long story arc. In this version, Sabrina is a high-school sophomore but on the young side. She’s caught between her crush on a mortal boy and a magical one, the latter of whom disconcertingly appears to be crushing on Sabrina’s best friend. Aside from sweet-and-sour romance, the chapters introduce Sabrina’s legal-guardian aunts, one of whom has political aspirations, and, of course, the wizard turned cat, Salem, who serves as both a comfort and an abrasive companion as Sabrina embarks on mortal and magical adventures ranging from recovering a kidnapped magical creature to waiting for her mortal sweetheart to invite her to the winter ball. The storytelling is well crafted, and the volume ends on a cliff-hanger, as its readers would likely prefer. About the Author
TANIA DEL RIO has been published in TOKYOPOP's RISING STARS OF MANGA ANTHOLOGY. She worked for Archie Comics as the writer and artist of SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH: THE MAGIC WITHIN graphic novels, an American Manga take on the characters and stories. She also wrote Archie's highly publicized "Reversedale" story and has worked on their JOSIE & THE PUSSYCATS and SONIC THE HEDGEHOG comics as writer and artist. Tania has also written SPIDER-MAN/ARA�A: THE HUNTER REVEALED for Marvel. She is currently writing the Young Adult Supernatural Fantasy novel WINTER WILDER.

Amazing Story! So Fun/Action/Continuing Plots

Great omnibus of a great comic! It's hard to track down the issues so this is very convenient! Fun story that overshadows the less than stellar art style. Love this idea keep it coming but it is black & white so you've been warned.

I love the manga version of Archie's Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I read most of the series when it was a periodical(and in color)and was disappointed when the series ended so abruptly. So, I was excited to find out the series was coming out in graphic novel format. What I was NOT expecting were the pages being in black and white instead of color. However, I love this series so I go over that it was not in color. I recommend this series for anyone who loves Sabrina the Teenage Witch for three reasons; the characters in this series have more depth and personality than in the original STW series, the story has many twist and turns and an ending you would never expect and it is drawn in Japanese manga style. I hope that someday Archie comics will bring back and continue this series.
