About the Author
Ali Adler is a TV writer and producer. Most recently she co-developed Supergirl for television. She is the co-creator of The New Normal and has worked on various other shows, including Glee, Chuck, and Family Guy. The mother of two children, Ali lives in Los Angeles with fiancee Liz Brixius.
Liza Donnelly is a contract cartoonist and writer with New Yorker Magazine, and has been writing cartoons and commentary on culture, politics, and relationships for over thirty years. Donnelly is the author/editor of sixteen books, most recently Women on Men. She lives in New York with her husband, cartoonist Michael Maslin.

A MUST READ FOR MEN AND WOMEN!

I initially started to read this as a humorous how-to but instantly felt very understood by the author. i passed it along to my husband. This book explained things I never felt like i could share with him directly and it has benefitted our relationship both interpersonally and sexually.

Well, this book is really about the title but on a whole lot of levels. The author informs us that since she is a lesbian she can uniquely give us advice from both the male and female perspectives. The honest truth is that there is a lot of practical information about the title but also just relationships in general bridging the gap between the genders. The main theme is that women want to be listened to and understood and men see themselves as problem solvers and are always offering solutions. Women don't want solutions instead wanting a sympathetic ear. Also, men want immediate gratification and women want a slow build up across the board. (hunter gatherer). Good tips here for both single and married men and women.

Excellent read, informative, well written

Fantastic, funny, insightful. I love this book. Love the way it's written. It's much more accessible than some of the other 'women writing for men about women' books. Gents, we have stuff to learn and this is a great book to use to learn it.
